We might have a volunteer position for you; one activity, many programs or a specific time of the year.

There is a place for you.

We are always open to meeting new people and sharing ideas. Here your talents and skills are very appreciated to help keep our museum operating.

We want to find out what you would like to help with. These volunteer positions may include:

Welcoming visitors, recording visitor information for grant reports, assist in running workshops and activities, overlooking children’s activities, giving tours, helping with publicity, and your ideas.

What skills and talents can you show to others?  Would you like to run a workshop or demonstration? Do you like to work with children or adults?  We have program and activity  ideas that need to  be implemented. What are your ideas?

All day events need many hands from behind the scenes like set-up, take down, making phone calls and publicity. On the day, people are needed for welcoming, parking cars, and directing people where to set up. Many hands make light work.

The museum is surrounded by many perennial flower beds that need spring clean- up and weeding, and autumn is for putting beds down for the winter.  Bushes need their annual trimming.  An herb garden needs weeding and annual herb plantings.

The two story museum and bank barn volunteers dust artifacts, clean glass cases and wash windows. Artifact Inventory also needs to be done.
