Annual Appeal Letter
A hearty thank you to all friends, sponsors, and supporters of Blue Slope Country Museum. These last few years have presented unique challenges. Our continuing success would not have been possible without your support. We are extremely grateful that you find space in your heart (and your budget) to support the museum.
Focusing on “Rhythm of the Seasons”: the museum unites agricultural history with the land and shows what a vital role it has played in the rural development of New England. Reflecting on this theme, our mission and heritage we strive to provide unique educational opportunities.
Some of our special programs and accomplishments this year include “Make Mine Maple, Modern Social Square Dances spring thru fall, and “hands on” school age programs utilizing creativity, life skills development, and opportunities for exploring and learning different topics.
Through special grants received: Blue Slope Country Museum now has a user-friendly upgraded website. Our summer grant allowed all youth free admission with an accompanying adult. Our latest grant is an opportunity to reach bilingual youth using a technology-based device to educate and translate. The museum continues to work to find additional funding sources and provide diverse educational programs.
The end of the year always provides festive and exciting times with our tractor driven holiday rides which start Thanksgiving weekend! This season is also a time of reflection and planning. As 2023 approaches we humbly ask that you consider donating. Your donations help us grow and strengthen our programs, maintain facilities and network with other organizations. We hope you will consider investing and supporting Blue Slope Country Museum.
Thank you for your support and look forward to an exciting “Rhythm of the Seasons” in 2023!
Sincerely,
Sandra W. Staebner
